Treatment of Tennis elbow (Epicondylitis) and Golfer’s elbow by Chinese and Western acupuncture


Firstly, these two disorders are not related to playing tennis or Golf, but affecting the muscles and tendons of the elbow joint when becomes damaged from overuse. The signs and symptoms of these conditions are mainly pain and tenderness on the inside and outside of the elbow.  In conventional Western medicine, painkillers and anti-inflammatory medications have less or no significant effects on these problems.  Other physical therapies, such as wearing Orthotic devices of rest band, braces or splint have been proved to be unhelpful.
